About SEACO Marine Products Ltd.

For some time leading up to 1994, Shaun McHugh realised there was a significant gap in the market for high quality boat fittings. He decided to combine his marine experience with his skill and knowledge in the engineering industry to design high quality fittings for sport fishing boats.

Initially the business was based purely on boat rod holders. This soon expanded to include –

• Pedestals
• Bait board systems
• Rocket launchers
• Custom aluminium work
• Stainless steel fabrication

Key Employee – Shaun McHugh

Shaun’s work experience includes 40 years in both the marine and engineering industries. During that time he has:

• Owned and operated his own commercial fishing boats for 12 years
• Worked for 5 years as a fitter and turner in a production environment
• Co-owned Triangle Marine building aluminium sport fishing boats for 6 years
• Formed Seaco in 1994 designing and manufacturing boat fittings
